Why is the power to tax a concurrent power?
Why is the power to tax a concurrent power? Should collecting taxes remain as a concurrent power? Explain.
I think it's related to the fact that taxes are collected by the city, the state and federal gov. concurrently (meaning "at the same time"). As long as the government has a local instance and a nation-wide instance, taxes are liable to follow that same schema. Research a bit more, because it is the way your government works and gets money to operate.
