    Does that system …
Does that system have a charge controller build in so that you don’t overcharge the battery? (And on the inverter side, so that you don’t overdrain the battery?)

    What kind of power …
What kind of power can we get out of a system with the panel hooked up to a Bendini motor? that’ll be interesting..

    Connect a gen. to …
Connect a gen. to that with a light weight pully.See if you can get more electricity out than power you put in. Useing special oils to reduce friction can you get like 220v or more? Or perhaps adjusting gear size to get the most power from a generator connected to this solor power instead of a fan. Worth a shot.

Just a warning that the panels are not as weatherproof as they should be. Mine lasted less than one year until the panels shorted out. I bought mine at Harbor Freight.

    well my answer is …
well my answer is overall I think it was worth the money, but people need to know there are hidden costs like you will now need the power inverter,$60 battery $30 used, and lights that are 12 volts or less and mounting brackets dont come with it, but overall it really is a fun project.

    no, not time …
no, not time programmed… it’s a constant sensor… as long as it has 5V it’ll try to pic the best position.

I just purchaced this same system from ebay and was wondering on a cloudy day , what is the average volts or what can i expect on a cloudy day? I know it will be less but will it still charge any at all?

    i designed a …
i designed a circuit to track the sun without using any of the high-tech devices available today… i did it because i think using GPS and calculation of the sun’s path across the sky is to complicated and expensive to do something a sunflower does for almost no cost. I actually got the idea from the sunflowers, i think imitating nature is one of the best ways to accomplish things… i hope i can mass produce them to get more energy out of the regular static solar panels.
