Don’t listen to Cee, the answer is not D). If birds had fused bones they wouldn’t be able to move, and endothermic means that their metabolic reactions would absorb heat, rather than release it.
The answer should be C) because divided ventricles increases the efficiency by which oxygen can travel throughout the body, and air sacs in the lungs (and elsewhere in the body) increase the volume of air, and therefore oxygen that can be absorbed by the body.
Although a and b are true and they certainly make flight easier and conserve energy for the bird these characteristics do not “give birds the energy” that they need.
